电影几乎没有任何惊悚或恐怖元素可言，重头戏竟然是反高潮的，就像是应付的一样，匆匆忙忙赶工完结，看着就如同嚼蜡一般无味。节奏处理起来摇摆不定，气氛总是搞不起来，整个过程看起来非常沉闷，就连基本的气氛营造也谈不上。怪物搞了大半天都没有露出「相貌」，给人的感觉就像是制作资源不足一样。
